Dinslakener City – Lauf in den Startlöchern

Die Vorbereitungen zum 12. Dinslakener City – Lauf 2017 laufen auf Hochtouren. So wartet das Theodor Heuss Gymnasium darauf, am 01.04.2017 zur Startnummernausgabe seine Türen zu öffnen, am 02.04.2017 dann endlich auch noch Hof und Tor dazu. Am kommenden Samstag, den 25.03.2017, werden die Streckenposten unter Anleitung von Manni Feldkamp und Axel Beyer in ihre Plätze und Aufgaben an der Laufstrecke eingewiesen. Wie in jedem Jahr sorgen über 100 freiwillige Helfer und Streckenposten dafür, dass der City – Lauf überhaupt stattfinden kann, viele benachbarte Laufveranstaltungen sterben aus, da es nicht mehr genug freiwillige Helfer gibt, die sich in ihrer Freizeit für das Stattfinden einer Sportveranstaltung engagieren. Neben den organisatorischen Vorbereitungen hat natürlich auch der traditionelle 0 auf 5000 - Kurs von Marathon Dinslaken fleißig seit Januar trainiert und geht mit 27 LäuferInnen und 3 WalkerInnen an den Start. In diesem Jahr bewegt sich die Altersspanne von der jüngsten Kursteilnehmerin mit 11 Jahren bis zum ältesten Teilnehmer mit 73 Jahren, die kontinuierlich auf ihr Ziel hin trainiert haben.
3134 bisher gemeldete Starter können sich auf die größte Laufveranstaltung der Region freuen: die Pokale sind geputzt, die T-Shirts bedruckt, Startnummern sortiert, Verpflegung organisiert, schönes Wetter bestellt und für gute Stimmung gesorgt.

Der 5-km-Lauf ist bereits seit Wochen ausgebucht. Noch bis zum 26.03.2017 können Anmeldungen für die 10-km- und die Schülerläufe entgegengenommen werden. Nachmeldungen am 01. und 02. April sind dann nur noch begrenzt möglich.
