Powerwalker sahnen durchweg vordere Plätze ab

Der nächtliche Dauerregen und die Wolkenbrüche am Morgen konnten die Top-Walker von Marathon Dinslaken nicht aufhalten.

Elf von ihnen starteten beim Martinslauf am sonntäglichen Unterbacher See und wurden mit strahlendem Sonnenschein pünktlich zum Start empfangen.
„Die Strecken durch den Wald waren herrlich anzusehen, aber nach dem vielen Regen auch sehr matschig und glatt, dennoch konnten wir hervorragende Zeiten walken.“, so die Sportler.

Belohnt wurde dieser Einsatz durch drei erste Plätze (Thomas Elsing: 1.AK M45 mit 1:05:40; Dagmar Richter: 1.AK W45 in 1:08:33; Angelika Zacher: 1.AK W55 durch 1:08:34), sowie drei zweite Plätze (Iris Trum mit 1:08:57 als 2.AK W50; Sandra Häusler in 1:21:52 somit 2.AK W40; Ruth Ratajczak durch 1:26:22 die 2.AK W70) und sogar vier dritte Plätze (3.AK W50: Ulla Warnecke in 1:14:19; 3.AK W45: Anke Reidick mit 1:19:14; 3.AK W40: Anke Hartmann durch 1:21:52; 3.AK W70: Ingrid Hölzer bei 1:26:23) und Jutta Mentel als 4. ihrer AK W40 in 1:30:03.

Bei den Läufern hatte Jörn Reidick von Marathon Dinslaken sein Debüt auf der 10km-Strecke. Er lief dort erfreuliche 1:07:31 und sicherte sich so den 5. Platz in seiner AK U20.
