Janin Ross bei der Überquerung eines typischen Kletterhindernisses

Janin Ross finishte im Gesamteinlauf auf den 4. Platz

Mindestens einmal im Jahr plant Janin Ross von Marathon Dinslaken in ihrem Laufkalender die Teilnahme an einer außergewöhnlichen und „abgefahrenen“ Laufveranstaltung ein. In diesem Jahr passte der Harzer Keiler Run genau in dieses Anforderungsprofil.

Der Harzer Keiler Run ist noch ein junger Trailrun, der in diesem Jahr zum zweiten Mal ausgetragen wurde. Er bietet alles, was das Herz eines Extremläufers begehrt. Egal ob Schlammpfade, Wasserrutsche, Kletterhindernisse oder extrem steile Anstiege, beim Harzer Keiler Run kommt jeder an seine Grenzen. Auf der Keilerfährte (24 km) sind 3 Runden zu absolvieren. Pro Runde mussten 18 Hindernisse überwunden werden, wobei dieser Schlammlauf garantiert nichts für “Weicheier“ war.

Mit dabei unter den rd. 600 Startern war Janin Ross von Marathon Dinslaken. Die 36 jährige Ausdauerspezialisten meisterte diese höllische und kraftraubende Herausforderung in der Klassezeit von 3:12:12 Std. und kam in der Gesamtwertung der Frauen auf den vierten Platz.
