Altersklassensieg für Angelika Zacher und gute Platzierungen für ihre Vereinskameraden

Bei unbeständigem Wetter und Temperaturen um 13°C waren beim 41. Schlossparklauf in Moers auch acht Starter von Marathon Dinslaken am Start.

Erfolgreichste Läuferin beim 5000m-Lauf war Angelika Zacher mit ihrem Altersklassensieg in der W60 in einer Zeit von 24:17 Minuten, mit der sie sogar noch die Altersklassen W45 und W50 gewonnen hätte. Günter Schittko (22:38 Minuten) konnte sich über den zweiten Platz in der M60 freuen, Jutta Erlekotte wurde in der starken W55 Dritte nach 26:31 Minuten. Vierte Plätze erreichten Sebastian Mahlerwein als schnellster Dinslakener (M35 19:58 Minuten) und Andreas Piecha (M55 21:16 Minuten), Therese Frychel wurde Fünfte in der W55 mit einer Zeit von 27:07 Minuten.

Beim 10.000m Lauf zeigte sich Dominik Kronier wiederholt in guter Form, und beendete das Rennen als Vierter seiner Altersklasse M35 mit der exakt gleichen Zeit von 41:10 Minuten wie beim Golddorflauf in Winnekendonk.  Allerdings war für ihn die Strecke an diesem Tag länger, als in Winnekendonk, weil leider an markanten Punkten Streckenposten fehlten, und so mancher Läufer -darunter eben auch Dominik- falsch abgebogen sind, was am Ende wertvolle Zeit kostete.

Bei den Damen sicherte sich Christiana Pelzer in der W55 den siebten Platz mit einer Zeit von 55:43 Minuten.
