Walker von Marathon Dinslaken mit guten Leistungen

Der Friesencross, der nunmehr 10-jähriges Jubiläum feierte, hat sich mittlerweile zu einem überregionalen Event entwickelt.

Die im Wangerland/Ostfriesland urlaubenden Walker Anke Reidick und Thomas Elsing ließen es sicht nicht nehmen, hier aktiv am Wettkampfgeschehen teilzunehmen.

Bei optimalen Bedingungen (25 Grad und leichter Seewind) starteten die für Marathon Dinslaken angetretenen Walker über eine schöne und anspruchsvolle Strecke, die über 5 km direkt an der Nordsee über weichen Sandstrand und durch die Dünen führte, und zeigten einmal mehr gute Leistungen.

Thomas Elsing konnte seinen Vorjahreserfolg wiederholen und siegte bei den Herren unangefochten mit der Klassezeit von 30:28 Min.; sein Vorsprung auf den Zweitplazierten betrug 4:44 Min.

Anke Reidick kam als fünfte Frau in 37:55 Min. ins Ziel.
