Vier goldene und zehn silberne Abzeichen für herausragende sportliche Leistungen verliehen

Die Hürden zum Erreichen des Deutschen Sportabzeichens sind 2014 vom Olympischen Sportbund drastisch erhöht worden. Beim Laufen, Weitsprung, Kugelstoßen und Schwimmen wurde das hohe Niveau nochmal angehoben.
Vierzehn hervorragende Sportler von Marathon Dinslaken stellten sich dieser Herausforderung erfolgreich.

Goldene Sportabzeichen gingen dabei an Marina Härter, Iris Trum, Angelika Zacher und Uwe Zacher.

Mit dem silbernen Sportabzeichen wurden geehrt: Anita Baginski, Julia Baginski, Margrit Germa, Anke Hartmann, Waltraud Hofmeister, Wilfried Karden, Jutta Mentel, Petra Ritter, Friederike Setzepfandt und Ulla Warnecke.
