Wie auch in den letzten Jahren, ist der BKK Walking Day am Baldeneysee ein Teil unseres Laufcups. Entlang der Uferwege führte die geänderte 7,5 bzw. 10,5 km Hauptstrecke. Ulla, Jutta, Julia und Sandra sind als Wiederholungstäter zum BKK Walking Day nach Essen gereist. Baumaßnahmen im Bereich der Regattatribüne hatten in diesem Jahr leider Einfluss auf Start und Ziel (diesmal am Seaside Beach) sowie der Streckenführung. Alle Vier waren in ihren Alterklassen und in der Gesamtliste unter den Top 5 Seniorinnen wiederzufinden. Auch das Wetter spielte an diesem herrlichem Spätsommertag mit. Die Rückkehr als Dauergast nach Essen in diesem Jahr hat sich für die Marathonis gelohnt.
