Der Turnverein Rees veranstaltete in diesem Jahr erstmalig den Reeser Rheinlauf. Wir haben ihn in unseren Laufcup 2024 aufgenommen.
Es war ein 2,5 km langer Rundkurs durch das Zentrum Rees und der angrenzenden Rheinpromenade. Allein dieser schöne Abschnitt war fast 1 km lang. Start und Ziel lagen am Marktplatz - mitten in der Stadt.  Für diese Premiere waren über 800 Aktive und viele Besucher entlang der Strecke nach Rees gekommen. Wir haben an Walking, 5-km und 10-km-Läufen teilgenommen.  In den Altersklassenlisten konnten wir uns über viele Podesplätzen freuen.

Ulla, Jutta, Julia und Dieter waren unten den Top 5 der Altersklasse Frauen und Männer in der Kategorie Walking wiederzufinden. Am Jedermannslauf 5 km konnten Ralf, Dominik und Sebastian mit zweiten und dritten Plätzen in ihren Alterklassen glänzen. Besonders erfolgreich lief der 10-km-Hauptlauf. Andreas und unsere beiden Tanjas haben den 1. Platz in ihrer jeweiligen Alterklasse erreicht. Christina kam als 2. ihrer AK ins Ziel.

Das Orgateam hat eine sehr schöne Veranstaltung auf die Beine gestellt, woran wir auch im nächsten Jahr wieder teilnehmen.
