Wie auch im letzten Jahr gingen Jutta und Sandra beim BKK Walking Day 2023 am Baldeneysee an den Start. Entlang der Uferwege führte die 14 km Hauptstrecke. Jutta bewieß auf der flachen Strecke eine sehr gute Ausdauer und kam nach 1:47:37 Std als 1. der Frauen W60 und gleichzeitig auch als 1. Frau in der Gesamtwertung ins Ziel. Sie steigerte sich damit zu Ihrem 3. Platz vom letzten Jahr. Sandra ging auch diesmal an den Start über die 8,5 km Strecke und kam auch erfolgreich als 9. der Frauen W50 nach 1:09:41 Std an der Tribüne der Regattastrecke an. Dort lag Start und Ziel nach der Runde um den See. Auch das Wetter spielte an diesem herrlichem Spätsommertag mit. Die Rückkehr nach Essen in diesem Jahr hat sich beide Marathonis gelohnt.
