Marathon Dinslaken nahm an verschiedenen Veranstaltungen in letzter Zeit teil.Eine größere Gruppe nahm Ende August an der 42. Auflage des Hamminkelner Volkslaufs teil. In diesem Jahr war es erstmalig ein Abendlauf. Über 800 Starter folgten dem Aufruf des Hamminkelner S.V. 1920/46. Der Rundkurs von 5 km mit Start und Ziel am Sportplatz verlief flach auf asphaltierten Wege. Die Wetterlage änderte sich zum Abend hin und sorgte so für fast perfekte Laufbedingungen.

Folgende Zeiten haben wir erreicht:

Susanne Dorstewitz 17. W40 33:11 (beide über 5 km)

Ulla Warnecke 1. W 35:34

Jutta Erlekotte 2. W 36:28 ( beide 5 km Walking)

Marcel Schenkel 13. M30 47:07

Angelika Zacher 3. W60 54:42

Brigitte Frösler 4. W60 1:03:19

Uwe Lieske-Benninghoff 13. M60 1:06:09 (alle über 10 km)

Auch aktiv waren Carsten Blindauer und Andreas Kellerhoff beim Münster-Marathon. Sie sind Wiederholungstäter, da sie auch letztes Jahr hier an den Start gingen. Durch den 10-Wochen-Plan waren sie in einer sehr guten Form, die 42,195 km in unter vier Stunden zu meistern. Sie kamen glücklich und zufrieden nach 03:54:39 ins Ziel.

Iris Trum und Ulla Warnecke haben in Borkum erfolgreich beim Meilenlauf (Viertelmarathon 5,83sm-Lauf) teilgenommen.
