Am letzten Juliwochenende startete im Stadion des Homberger TV der 29. HTV-Sparda-Rheinuferlauf. Marathon Dinslaken nahm am 10-km-Volkslauf und dem 7,5-km-Walking teil. 

Das Wetter hatte diesmal alles zu bieten, von einem kräftigem Regenguss bis hin zum Sonnenschein auf dem Rheindeich entlang. Der familiär geführte Volkslauf hat seinen Start und sein Ziel auf der Aschebahn des Homberger TV Sportplatz. Die Strecke führt größtenteils auf dem Rheindeich Richtung Norden und nach einer Wendemarke wieder zum Platz zurück statt. Wir konnten diesmal einen Doppelsieg in der Altersklasse M60 durch Andreas K. und Andreas P. feiern. Auch Brigitte freute sich sehr über ihren Altersklassenerfolg. Unsere beiden Walkingdamen Iris und Jutta kamen auch unter die Top 5. Carsten ging auch an den Start, musste aber leider verletzungsbedingt unterbrechen. Gute Besserung an dieser Stelle.
