In der Studentenstadt Münster fand der 20. Münster Marathon statt. Unsere Marathonis nahmen erfolgreich teil.

Der Wettergott hatte es am zweiten Septemberwochenende gut gemeint und belohnte die über 9.200 Läuferinnen und Läufer mit angenehmen Temperaturen. Der beliebte Marathon feierte in diesem Jahr sein 20-jähriges Bestehen: Gleich mehrere unserer Marathonis zogen ihre Laufschuhe an und nahmen erfolgreich am Großevent teil.

Noch vor dem Start verloren die Marathonis den Neuzugang Moritz aus den Augen und so blieb eine Vierergruppe, die zuvor gemeinsam trainierte, zusammen. Andreas und Carsten mussten sich regelrecht an die beiden Tanjas anheften, die mit einer anfänglichen Kilometerzeit von 5.15 min bis 5.25 min die beiden Männer aus der Reserve lockten. Das Tempo wurde beibehalten und so gelang es der Vierergruppe, einen guten Marathon hinzulegen. Zur Belohnung gönnten sich alle bei Sonnenschein ein leckeres Eis.
