Am ersten Adventssonntag starteten wir beim Schmachtendorfer Nikolauslauf unter 2-G-Bedingungen.

Der Veranstalter Spvgg. Sterkrade-Nord präparierte zwei Strecken über 5 km 10 km teilweise mit leichtem Cross-Charakter. Der Zieleinlauf fand wieder im Stadion statt, wo wir als Finisher durch den Applaus der Zuschauer empfangen wurden. Bei frischer aber trockener Wetterlage erfreuten sich Groß und Klein an dem verkleideten Nikolaus. Für alle gab es im Ziel eine Urkunde sowie den beliebten Stutenkerl. Es war für unseren Verein mit sehr guten Laufergebnissen eine rundum gelungene Veranstaltung mit familiärem Charme.
