Jutta Erlekotte finishte ihren zehnten Marathon in Santa Eularia

Für Jutta Erlekotte ist Ibiza so etwas wie eine zweite Heimat. Was lag also näher, als sich für ihren zehnten Marathon die wunderschöne Strecke auf der Insel vorzunehmen? Nach vielen Wochen disziplinierter Vorbereitung war es dann am 6. April 2019 endlich soweit. Mit dem Startschuss um 16:00 Uhr am Hafen von Ibiza-Stadt wurden die Läufer bei bester Stimmung auf die Strecke geschickt, die vorbei an kleinen Dörfern und durch viel Natur nach Santa Eularia führte, wo auf die etwa 600 Marathon-Läufer ein Finish bei Sonnenuntergang wartete. Vorher mussten aber bei den Kilometern 12-13 und 16-18 noch Anstiege bewältigt werden, bevor es ab Kilometer 22 dann leicht bergab ging. Insgesamt nahmen ca. 2500 Läufer, an den verschiedenen Wettbewerben (Halbmarathon, Staffel und 12km) der top organisierten Veranstaltung teil.

Mit einer angestrebten Zeit von unter 4:30h legte Jutta mit 4:29:25 Stunden eine Punktlandung hin und wurde mit einer aussergewöhnlichen Medaille für diese Leitung belohnt.
