Erfolgreiches Finish für Vytas Lemke und Jürgen Musche 

Worauf man sich beim Marathon in Hamburg auf jeden Fall nicht verlassen kann, ist das Wetter. Wie für den April typisch, können die Temperaturen hier gern mal deutlich über 20°C liegen. Es kann aber auch, wie in diesem Jahr, durchgängig regnen. Bei 8-10°C optimale Bedingungen für Vytas Lemke, der die kühleren Läufe bevorzugt und in Hamburg bis zu einem Anstieg bei km 40 seine Pace nahezu konstant halten konnte. Nach 4:12:33 Stunden finishte er erfolgreich sieben Minuten nach seinem Vereinskameraden Jürgen Musche, der nach 4:05:09 die Ziellinie überquerte.
