Geführter Lauf im Hiesfelder Wald

Am 17.03.2019 veranstaltete der Nachbarverein Adler Langlauf Bottrop einen geführten langen Lauf wahlweise über 20 oder 30 km. Da einige Vereinsmitglieder in ihrem Trainingsprogramm eine lange Strecke vorgesehen hatten und andere sich in der Marathonvorbereitung befanden, nutzen sie das Angebot mit Läufern anderer Vereine über mehrere Stunden im Bottroper/Hiesfelder Wald zu trainieren. Start und Ziel waren das Bergwerk Prosper Haniel, wo es zunächst eine Einweisung in den allgemeinen Ablauf gab, um danach in drei verschiedenen Zeitgruppen zu starten. Es wurde teilweise die Strecke des Bottroper Herbstwaldlaufs passiert, am Heidesee vorbei, bis hoch zum Parkplatz Schwarze Heide, wo die Läufer der erste Verpflegungsstand erwartete. Nach 20 km erreichten die Laufgruppen wieder das Bergwerk und konnten entweder ihren Lauf beim alkoholfreien Weizen beenden oder sich auf die 10km – Runde begeben, die die Halde Haniel bei Sturm, Regen, Hagel und oben bei schönstem Sonnenschein hochführte und den Läufern ordentlich in den Oberschenkeln zog. Aber der Ausblick entschädigte die durchweichten und abgekämpften Läufer für die bis dortige anspruchsvolle Strecke. Günter Schittko, Vanessa Rentmeister und Angelika Zacher liefen 20km, Andreas Kellerhoff, Jutta Erlekotte und Janin Beyer 30km und Georg Smeets tauschte erst nach ganzen 34 km seine Laufschuhe gegen ein alkoholfreies Weizen ein.
