Durch den Schlamm

Dieser Lauf steht für jede Menge Matsche, Schlamm und Hindernisse, aber noch viel mehr für Spaß und Teamgeist! Unter den 15.000 Startern waren dieses Jahr auch zwei Starter von Marathon Dinslaken. Georg Smeets und Julia Baginski gingen mit der Unterstützung von Ferry Hofmann als Team über 12 km und 32 Hindernissen an den Start.

Bei diesem Lauf ging es weniger darum, das Ziel möglichst schnell zu erreichen, sondern es überhaupt gemeinsam bis dahin zu schaffen. In Weeze wurden den Teilnehmern nicht nur körperliche, sondern auch mentale Herausforderungen gestellt und so waren für diese Strecke vor allem Mut und Teamplay gefragt. Denn um das Ziel zu erreichen, mussten alle über hohe Mauern kommen, sich durch tiefen Schlamm kämpfen, durch kaltes Wasser schwimmen oder aus großer Höhe Springen. Als Team war dies alles zu schaffen und so wurde gemeinsam und glücklich das Ziel erreicht.
