Sonne, Sand, Wind und Meer

Axel und Janin Beyer reisten am letzten Maiwochenende Richtung Norden an die Deutsche Ostseeküste zur Insel Fehmarn und nahmen während ihres Kurzurlaubes am 28.05.2016 am 6. Fehmarn – Marathon teil.Dieser kleine herzlich gestaltete Marathon führte bei strahlendem Sonneschein und teilweise starken Windböen durch Schafherden über Deiche am Meer entlang, über unebenen Feldwegen und auf asphaltierten Strassen durch kleine Inseldörfer. Der Start und Zielbereich befand sich auf dem Campingplatz Wallnau, sodass sich die Läufer nicht wie sonst vor  Dixi – Toiletten tümmeln mussten, sondern direkt vom Frühstückstisch am Wohnwagen zum Start gehen konnten. Nach dem Finishen hatten die Läufer die Möglichkeit, im Wellnessbereich kostenlos die Sauna zu nutzen und sich massieren zu lassen. Der restliche Tag konnte dann zur Beinregeneration liegend am Strand verbracht werden.

Entlang der Strecke bekamen die Beyers noch anfeuernd Unterstützung aus dem  Verein durch Dagmar und Peter Kuckuck. Die beiden befanden sich zufällig zeitgleich auf der Insel Fehmarn auf dem Weg nach Schweden, wo sie eine Woche später beim Marathon in Stockholm starteten.

Janin und Axel Beyer erreichten nach 4:16 h entspannt das Ziel.
