Brigitte Frösler Platz 4 in der AK W55

Am 18.10.2015 starteten bei leider 9 Grad trübem Wetter, aber guter Stimmung, Thomas Holland über die Halbmarathon-Distanz von 21,1 km, sowie  Brigitte Frösler und Ralf Wermes über die vollen 42,2 km beim 17. Morgenpost Dresden Marathon, der in 2 Runden durch die schöne Stadt an der Elbe führt.

Auf der größtenteils flachen Strecke zogen fast 8000 Läufer vorbei am Zwinger, dem Taschenbergpalais, dem Theaterplatz mit der Semperoper, dem Residenzschloss und der Kathedrale sowie der Frauenkirche, über Brücken und teilweise auf dem Elbradweg. Die Vielzahl der Sehenswürdigkeiten und die abwechslungsreiche Strecke ließen zu keiner Zeit Tristesse aufkommen. Über einen 4. Platz  in der W55 mit einer Zeit von 3:57 Stunden freute sich besonders Brigitte Frösler, aber auch Ralf Wermes kam mit einer Zeit von 4:34 Stunden zufrieden im Ziel an.

Thomas Holland knüpfte mit seiner erkämpften Zeit von 1:30 Stunden über die Halbmarathondistanz wieder an zurück liegende Bestzeiten an.
