Auch in diesem Jahr zog es am ersten Mai wieder viele Läufer nach Flüren, um dort entweder am Fünfkilometerlauf oder dem Halbmarathon teilzunehmen.

Für die Jüngeren wurden auch ein Schüler- und ein Bambinilauf angeboten.
Hier konnte unser Vereinsjunior Robbi Smeets in einer Zeit von 2:57 Minuten den 6. Platz in seiner Altersklasse erlaufen.

Das Ziel über die Fünfkilometerdistanz erreichten Jörn Reidick in 29:11 Minuten als 7. der AK M und Thomas Elsing mit einem Treppchenplatz in 29:43 Minuten als 3. der AK M45.

Beim Halbmarathon überquerten zeitgleich nach 1:43:46 Stunden Janin Roß und Axel Beyer (12. AK M40) die Ziellinie. Für Janin bedeutete diese Zeit den 1. Platz in der AK W40 und gleichzeitig den 3. Platz bei den Kreismeisterschaften des Kreises Rhein-Lippe.
