Peter Kuckuck berichtet von diesem außergewöhnlichen Lauf:

 

Beim diesjährigen Jubiläumslauf, dem 30. Marathon du Médoc, gingen auch acht Läufer von Marathon Dinslaken an den Start.
Verkleidet, wie auch alle anderen 11.000 Läufer, genossen sie Rotwein, Austern, Entrecôte, Champagner, Eis und viele kleine Leckereien entlang der Strecke.
Alle Läufer (Dagmar und Peter Kuckuck, Christiana und Dieter Pelzer, Michael und Chrissi Haex, Brigitte Frösler und Ralf Wermes) finischten in Karnevalsstimmung bei schönstem Sonnenschein. Für alle war es ein außergewöhnliches Ereignis durch die Weinberge und die Châteaus der Region Médoc zu laufen.
